Scene It?

Yesterday I picked up some family/party games for a game certificate we got for Christmas at GAME in Stockholm. We figured we should buy some games we wouldn't normally buy, since it was a gift. The games we bought were "Scene It? LCA", "Scene It? BOS" and "Monopoly". Unfortunately the game wasn't in the box for LCA but we've played the other two games like crazy since we got them about 28 hours ago.

It's truly addictive playing these games and they'll easily fuck up your everyday life. For instance me and Malin were up until 3 this morning playing "Scene It? BOS" like crazy. We both love movies and trivia, so this game is awesome for us.

tomorrow I'm going to work on some lyrics for my album. i'll be back with an update tomorrow.

Hip-hop shit

YES, I was in the studio today and we did a song that's sooooo much more hip-hop than anything you'd normally expect from me. But hey, I'm all about doing unexpected things with my music, so that's cool. The song is going to be really dope and I look forward to finish the lyrics and recording it as soon as next week.

We're going to do the beat for the last song for the album on Friday, then we'll start recording next week. We're going to have to do AT LEAST one song a session to meet deadline. Fuck it, I'm all about making the best album I possibly can, so we'll see when we get there. I'll tell you this much though; we're on our way and we're getting there.

I've got so much incredible material right now it's ridiculous and I honestly don't think folks are ready for it just yet. I'm way ahead of 'em and this is my FIRST album. Conceded? Nah...

Finally got my "Mirror's Edge" in the mail today, YAAAAY!!! Haven't had time to test it yet, but hopefully I will tomorrow. Looking forward to it, heard the graphics are NUTS. I'll be back with a comment when I've tried it.

Live report from the studio

Whatup peops,

I'm in the studio as I'm writing this, working on a new song which has such a fuckin' awesome title it'll blow your mind. I can't tell you too much about it yet, but let me put it this way:

1. It's awesome. FUCKING awesome.

2. It'll definitely make people on both sides of the Xbox 360 vs. Playstation 3 "beef" that is going on right now think twice before saying some stupid shit. Ooooooh, perhaps a truce is coming up? Who knows, you'll probably like the song though.

Back to work - bye.

"Fade Away"

Yup, right now I'm working on this new song of mine entitled "Fade Away". It's a real up-tempo, sombre, what-are-we-really-doing-with-our-lives type track. Dope as hell if you ask me. Potential single, for sure. That's all I've got to say about that for now. You'll see. Trust me, YOU'LL SEE.

Now it's back to writing while watching Malin unlock achievements like CRAZY on the Xbox. Wow.

Back with a vengeance

Happy new year, people!!!

I'm back on my blog grind again, and this time I'm here to stay. I'm going to use this blog as my official one and update it as often as I can. Pictures, videos and everything I promised last time WILL be a part of this blog. So, let me know where I'm at as far as music is concerned...

Right now I'm in the studio with producer/singer Jonathan Ojeda writing and recording songs for my debut album "Curbside Kid", set for a mid-2009 release. A street single and an official single accompanied by a video will be released in approximately two months. I'm also working on a mixtape which is going great and I will release something from the tape SOON.

So keep checking back here for the latest on me and my music. Peace.

Update

I am sincerely sorry for the lack of updates on this blog. I've been busy working, writing and recording music and I've also been blogging at the local newspaper's website every day. Priorities, my friends.

Fuck that though, as of today I will blog here every time I blog at the newspaper, so start visiting this blog every day again and you won't regret it. Photos, video clips and other fun stuff coming up in a couple of weeks. So, what else is new...

Yesterday we started recording my debut album entitled "Curbside Kid". There you have it, the official title of my album. "Curbside Kid", remember that title because it will be in your face for the upcoming months, years, decades... I will explain the title later. We recorded the verses for one song yesterday and will continue recording the verses for another song tomorrow. I think the song we'll record tomorrow will be the one I wrote about a couple of posts back, entitled "Rockstar". That should be loads of fun. We got yesterday's recording session on film, and we will keep filming everything we do and then put that shit on the internet. ALL of that shit.

Take care and I'll check back in after tomorrow's session.

"Rockstar"

Yeeeaaah man, I just finished most of the lyrics for a new song entitled "Rockstar". It's a hard, grimey, yet fun and playful, song about the negative aspects of hiphop. Not the music hiphop, but the lifestyle and attitude often associated with hiphop. I take that attitude/lifestyle and compared it to the classic rock'n'roll stereotypes and clichés. I had a blast writing it and I hope it will be just as fun listening to it when it's done.

I wrote a little for another song for the album, more information about that soon.

Anders, owner of Stonerude Records, just got his video camera so as of next week we will start filming everything we do in the studio, putting up videoblogs and behind the scenes material on Youtube. This blog will also get it's exclusive clips and I will of course upload all the other clips here as well. Be patient, my friends.

Now it's time for a new episode of "Prison Break", then I'm going to catch some Z's. Tomorrow it's a new day and I will try to finish the other song I worked on today. It'll be awesome when it's finished, trust me.

Good night.
